Continuing their intriguing new livestream concept which launched in June with “The Vault” featuring Saytek, the next edition of the ratemyrave live lands next month. The series which features five individual streams will pair obscure and eye-catching locations with house & techno’s top talents.
Next up on September 14th finds the quick-fire disc jockeying of Jack Swift and Devstar in action at “The Barber Shop“. The energy-filled performers known for their creative hot cues, loops and cut and chop style mixing will be playing individual sets to showcase not only their technically impressive DJ abilities, but also their latest music productions. Following stints on some of the world’s biggest stages including Amnesia Ibiza for ABODE, Hideout Festival Croatia and The Warehouse Project, ratemyrave will be hosting them exclusively in a very different, unique setting for one night only.
As the title suggests, the stream will be taking place in an actual barber shop, named Fargs in the busy town centre of Maidstone, Kent. The open plan and strikingly decorated space will provide an interesting backdrop for the evening. Playing in support are Alex Niechoj and Derelict’s Ben.Ny to round off an action-packed night of short back & sides.
Attending the stream and the rest of the series is completely free, you just need to register to the ratemyrave series by visiting ratemyrave.com/register. Guestlist spaces will then be picked at random and emailed one week before the event which takes place on September 14th. If you’re not lucky enough to get a ticket, you can watch all the recorded action live on Facebook during the week following the event.
Many more locations and DJs are still yet to be announced, registerto hear first and keep an eye on the ratemyrave socials!
