Tickets on sale: Friday June 8, at 9am BST via Ticketmaster, Gigs & Tours, Ticket Tannoy and Resident

Icon. Visionary. Master. LWE and SJM Concerts are delighted to announce the return to the Capital
of Richie Hawtin and his award-winning audio-visual show Close. Taking place on Friday 12 th October
at the magnificent Roundhouse, this exclusive London performance takes you closer to Richie’s
unique way of performing.
The show, CLOSE – SPONTANEITY AND SYHNCHRONICITY, explores the relationship between human
creativity and the innovative technologies that enable an artist to express themselves. In its first
year, the show was voted Best Live Performance 2017 at the DJ Awards. Having debuted the concept
at Coachella followed by shows at Primavera Sound, ADE and Vivid LIVE at the Sydney Opera House,
CLOSE opens up the DJ booth for a transparent masterclass in Spontaneity & Synchronicity. Using
intimately placed cameras this man versus machine relationship unfolds onscreen in real-time
bringing the audience closer than before to Hawtin’s intuitive gestures. It also represents how far
the art of DJing can be pushed today, thanks to a completely improvised performance which means
no two shows are the same.
Both CLOSE dates will be supported by a live show by respected Swedish electronic act TM404 aka
Andreas Tilliander, a regular guest at Hawtin’s ENTER. residency in Ibiza. TM404 will open from
doors until the CLOSE performance, with a leftfield live performance featuring 303s, 202s and drum
19.00 – 23.00
Roundhouse, Chalk Farm Rd, Camden Town, London NW1 8EH
